“Dr Ronald Siu graduated from the University of Melbourne. He completed his early medical training in Brisbane before relocating to Sydney for advanced general medicine and neurology training. Dr Siu holds two master's degrees, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Philosophy, with a thesis focused on a familial form of spinocerebellar ataxia. Dr Siu specialises in Spinocerebellar Ataxia and Motor Neuron Diseases, providing outpatient and inpatient Electroencephalography (EEG) services. He has a particular interest in headache disorders and multiple sclerosis, having completed a Headache Master program in Australia organised by the Australian and New Zealand Headache Society. He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. He is a member of several professional organisations, including the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, the American Academy of Neurology, the Australasian Stroke Academy, and the Australian and New Zealand Headache Society. Additionally, Dr Siu is an examiner for the local Royal Australasian College of Physicians specialist examination. Currently, Dr Siu is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and provides public service as a staff specialist neurologist at Toowoomba Base Hospital. He also serves as the Clinical Director of the Neurology Department at Toowoomba Hospital. Dr Siu offers outpatient consultation services at his practice, Toowoomba Neurology, as well as for inpatients at St. Andrew's Hospital and St. Vincent's Hospital in Toowoomba.”
