Bongil Bongil National Park is an excellent spot for barbecues and fishing, perfect for day trips or school excursions. The park is home to a large population of koalas and over 165 species of birds. You can enjoy kayaking, fishing on Bonville Creek, and bird watching. The park features the Buff Loop Walking Track and the Bundagaree Rainforest Walk. The Buff Loop Walking Track is an easy grade 2, 2 km loop that takes you through dense jungle with vines, palms, and rainforests and behind the dunes lining Bongil Beach to a lookout over Bundagaree Creek. The Bundagaree Rainforest Walk is an easy grade 3, 6 km loop that leads from the rainforest to the rocky shoreline of Bundagaree Creek, a place to explore rock pools and enjoy the view. The park has a picnic area with barbecues, shelters.
