Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is a multi-award-winning marine wildlife park. Their marine park opened as a rescue and rehabilitation centre for native aquatic animals. Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary has a Rehabilitation Licence issued by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage. They have more than 14 Australian sea lion pups at the park. Australian sea lions are endangered, and Dolphin Marine Conservation Park proudly contributes to their survival, with fewer than 8,000 remaining in the wild. The sanctuary is home to over 40 marine and terrestrial animals. Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary provides care for animals that have been brought to them due to injuries or illnesses that prevent their return to the wild.

2025 Update: Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, part of the Australasian Species Management Program, has bred more than 14 Australian sea lion pups to help save this endangered species, which has fewer than 8,000 left in the wild.

North Coast Regional Botanic Garden is a 20-hectare oasis in the heart of Coffs, combining a mix of natural coastal forests, planted gardens, discovery walks and picnic areas. The total garden area covering native forests and mangroves represents the original native vegetation of the site. North Coast Regional Botanic Garden aims to provide a safe place to help ensure the survival of these endangered plants. The garden has a specimen of the endemic swamp orchid, one of New South Wales's most endangered plant species. They offer a wide variety of plants at affordable prices, with all proceeds from sales dedicated to enhancing their gardens.

Solitary Islands Aquarium allows you to dive in and explore the individual marine ecology of the Coffs Coast through its aquariums, guided tours and interactive displays. They are located at Southern Cross University’s National Marine Science Centre.
