The facility was set up wonderfully, and I loved all of the animals. I would definitely recommend staying for the dolphin show if you want some animal interaction! For the price of the ticket, I got much more than expected. Animials were not forced to do tricks and interactions between trainers and animials were always positive. The staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Kids will fall in love with place. 100% recommend.

Every time we visit Coffs Harbour we always come here. The Sanctuary is an amazing experience and well worth supporting for their conservation and local rescue work. It wouldn’t be Coffs Harbour without this wildlife sanctuary, operated by locals. The food was delicious too :) there are lots of options for animal interactions so I’ve just put a few photos but you will have to discover the rest yourself when you visit!

What a great place to visit, and I have been several times now. Love the talks and interactions, the kids just as much! It's worth the visit!

What an amazing place. It’s tucked away down a side road but when you find it you will be amazed. There are so many walking paths to follow, open places for picnics and kids to run, lakes to sit quietly by and stunning palms and ferns as well as flowers. The main paths are all sealed which makes them easy to walk on and perfect for those who are disabled. The main trail is nice and flat but there also many off the side trails that require a bit more effort. The Japanese garden and lake was really beautiful…..there was a bit of work being done towards the back of the gardens and like most gardens there is always something being planted. We especially loved hearing and seeing the kookaburras …one in particular who was enjoying a bath in a small pond. Definitely well worth the visit.

An absolute gem! A must visit place for both locals and tourists! There are many different walking tracks that you can take and each takes you through different vegetation and forest. The bird life is amazing, and we were lucky enough to see the critically endangered powerful owl. Also the nocturnal tours run by the volunteers are incredible for viewing the native fauna (including endangered species) and very informative.

A beautiful green space right in the heart of Coffs Harbour. There are many tracks to follow through different parts of the garden. There are lovely green lawn areas for picnics or family gatherings. You can visit the Japanese ponds with many fish and turtles. Lots of diversity in the plants and trees. Also there is a large green house full of many ferns and other delicate plants. I would definitely recommend a few hours exploring the Botanic Gardens.

A wonderful experience for kids and adults of all ages. Wheelchair and pram friendly with toilets inside as well. We all enjoyed the documentary running in the theatre. The aquarium is well presented with information on each exhibit that is easy to read and understand. The kids enjoyed taking the cards around to complete their challenge of finding all the fish. The fishing game was a big hit and even hubby was lost in the knots for a while. I enjoyed the touch and feel rockpool and listening to the talk on the different species it contained. We also enjoyed the science around ocean conservation and the interactive microscope examples.

Such a lovely place to stop - interesting talks, a touch tank, fish feeding and staff who are well informed and friendly. There are also some interactive activities, mainly for younger kids and they have a theatre with documentaries playing. Up the back you can look through microscopes. I learn something every time we come - this was our third visit. For a small admission fee, you can expect to spend an hour or so looking around and learning about the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Staff members there were so helpful and passionate about what marine life. This place has a number of tanks showcasing local marine life and a theatre where a short film is being played talking about the East Australia Current. Seeing all the cute fishes actually got me feel like going scuba diving here on the coffs coast.
