Roundhouse Park is a sandy beach park and picnic area with open space to improve visitors' physical health. The park has a large lawn ideal for outdoor picnics and lawn bowling. The park is an excellent spot for events and outdoor entertainment. Roundhouse Park is a beautiful place to enjoy a bite while enjoying the scenery. The park has outdoor fitness equipment. Most mature trees in Roundhouse Park will be retained in the Waterfront Park project. The new trees will generally be advanced, ranging from three to six metres in height, depending on the species, when planted. Roundhouse Park and Mussel Rock include a nature playground, BBQ shelter with picnic tables and amenities, riverfront walk, and a rotunda. The public can use the rotunda for both informal and formal purposes.

Pioneer Park is 1.7 hectares of public open space. The park is clean and well-maintained and provides a healthy and pleasant place for picnics, hiking, and sports activities. There are plenty of unique amenities and facilities, such as an all-natural playground for the kids and sports fields. Pioneer Park has ample parking areas. Two known cemeteries were originally established in Pioneer Park that are the Church of England Cemetery, known as Torquay-God’s Acre, and the Wesleyan Cemetery located along Wright Street.
