A great restaurant located in Devonport. The views from the restaurant are fantastic, you're overlooking the ocean and if you're lucky you'll spot the spirit of Tasmania sailing out of the harbour. The food was of excellent quality and very well presented. Service can be a little on the slow side due to the number of patrons that visit the restaurant but nothing greater than what you expect from a popular restaurant.

Wow, what a beautiful restaurant. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, unfortunately with 2 crazy kids in town, but they behaved well and the staff accommodated them well considering it's a formal restaurant. The food was delicious! Oysters, scallops, prawns, beautiful baked bread, and the children had such quality food also; a chicken penne and grilled salmon. Our desserts were show stopping. I wish we could have eaten more. If you are looking for a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and a gorgeous view, definitely give this a try!

Lunch in September 2024, first time diners, we both shared delightful oysters and each had the baby octopus. These were very good. My companion had the salmon and I had the wallaby. Both were great. Great wine list with bottles from $55. Met one of the owners, she was lovely. You won't be disappointed if you dine here.

The four of us enjoyed our time and meals together at the Central Bar & Restaurant. only complaint was our steaks were well underdone, but what a great location.

Over from Melbourne and came here for dinner. Excellent food, steak cooked to perfection. Both chicken dishes superb. Staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

A very wide menu choice and the food was delicious. It was recommended to me and certainly was most enjoyable every time.

Great craft beer bar right in the centre of Devonport! Great selection of beers on tap that rotate regularly, but if there's nothing that takes your fancy there is a great cocktail and wine list, along with a huge selection of drinks in the fridge! Staff are fantastic, great place to celebrate an occassion or have a quiet drink with a couple of mates. Highly recommended!

A great bar, with a huge range of beer both on tap but in the fridge as well. The beer was well priced , and the bar had card games as well as the option to bring in food from the hill street grocer near by. Would highly recommend.

Drank the local beers. The bar staff were very helpful. The range of beers was great. They don't serve food but do allow you to bring takeaway.
