3 Best Parks in Tamworth NSW

Always love going to the park! Sometimes it has events on, otherwise it's a peaceful place to just chill out. You can relax under the trees or check out the abstract guitar, visit the duck pond or walk along the river. Walk a little further & there is the kids playground & Hopscotch cafe. This part of Tamworth is beautiful & has lots of parking as well as being walking distance to the CBD. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the best public parks equipped with everything you may look for, for everyone in the family. Awesome for kids to run, play, explore and exercise. Great place for adults to walk, sit , catch up with family n friends or even exercise. Wonderful place for both local and visitors to Tamworth. I wish local government build this kind of park in every town.

It's nice seeing and having peace of mind that there are acceptable accommodation who enjoys family with animals and that are all treated with respect. And understanding. As being one of the guest there I had really enjoyed the night lights of Dubbo and having refreshing of the country road of NSW and the warm welcoming to their traveler's.

This place was absolutely amazing, and completely free! The animals looked very well looked after, and you could see kangaroos, emus, peacocks and a wide array of different birds. We arrived early and the park was almost empty and there was lots to see and explore. There's several walks and many enclosures and you could easily spend several hours here. The children's playground was amazing too and definitely worth a visit!

My 2 and 6 year old had a blast here in the school holidays, there was so much for them to do in the playground area and I was very impressed to see that my 2 year old could go on a lot of the equipment without any help, I would 1000% bring my kids back here it was phenomenal.

Great place for the kids. From just a quick play to hosting a birthday party. Plenty of activities and animals to see. Heaps of seating and shade.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Has been several years since we had the opportunity to walk down this way on our trip to Tamworth. This was definitely a nice surprise. Not sure if the Cafe is doing as well as it could according to local reports but didn't get the time to sit and make our own decisions on this though. Beautiful spot all the same and striking distance to Peel St to pick up whatever other foods for a picnic. Fabulous venue for the kids to explore outdoor activities. Such a range to experience. Even an outdoor activity section to use body weight equipment to improve your fitness levels. So good. Kids could spend a good few hours here as the parents wanted to BBQ or just relax. Plenty of man made shade and trees. A bit of history at the other end of the park with more clean public toilets available there.

Absolutely fabulous park. We came across it when waiting on our new car. Spaces for all aged kids to explore, unique equipment, cool sandpit. There are bbqs, plenty of shaded areas. Even a cafe on site for the adults or kids with meals, snacks, coffee, etc. You can either eat in the restaurant or take away to the park. Further along there was also an exercise area with fixed equipment. Great space to stop if travelling with kids and need a break.

If you're looking for a playground that your kids will like I highly recommend Tamworth regional playground! They have so many stuff there that your kids will definitely love! Even teenager can enjoy this playground.
