They have a replica of the famous Golden Guitar Award and a symbol of the world-renowned annual Tamworth Country Music Festival. A must-see attraction during your visit to Tamworth is the Golden Guitar, which is accessible 24 hours a day and is lit at night for the obligatory photograph. Standing 12 meters tall and weighing half a ton, this Australian icon is one of the region’s most recognized attractions. The Big Golden Guitar was constructed using fibreglass and wood, with steel reinforcement, although it has no strings. This massive outdoor sculpture marks the location of a country music and gift shop, which features an attached coffee café.
