3 Best Bars in Tamworth NSW

Wanted a quiet beer. Was not disappointed. Barman gave me tastes before I ordered as I was apprehensive about buying a schooner I might not like. Good selection available. Cheese platters, spirits and cocktails available too.

Stopped by for some bevs before flight back Sydney. Cool place to have a drink, good selection of beers on tap had the Akasha dark beer. Great service, atmosphere and the decor is on point.

Great range of drinks, Friday raffles are a great addition and service is great and friendly. I'd only recommend some food options, even sandwiches would be good.

Not only was the service impeccable the food, the atmosphere, the vibe was 10/10 the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was amazing and loads of options and the chef was more than happy to cater to any dietary needs. Overall came out of the place happy and satisfied and so impressed by the service. Would recommend to anyone in the area or visiting 100 times over!! Affordable and inviting venue.

"Best pub food in Tamworth." Everyone I've spoken to says the same thing about the Calala Inn. Their portions are large, so if you clean your plate you may want to wait a few days before writing your review. The staff are amazing. We had a blast and they made our family gathering feel like a party. Great menu, excellent beer selection, and well worth the trip from any part of Tamworth or the New England region.

Calala in the restaurant has many varied menu choices to choose from. the atmosphere is very good, it has a good bar and a large parking area.

Best ribs I’ve ever had! The service is always lovely and the waiters are always attentive. Portions are so big I always end up have enough leftovers for a lunch or two so the price is always worth it! Always recommend the pork ribs and the onion rings. Always will keep coming back. Also the monkey gland sauce is awesome!!

Food was amazing and huge, we couldn’t eat it all and took the rest home. Staff were beautiful and friendly and loved that it’s a family owned business and they all work the restaurant together, I also love the idea of ordering on the tablet as we could take our time and go through all the items on the menu. Definitely recommend.

My family was visiting Tamworth and this restaurant was recommended by the local. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was tasty and fresh. The ambience was full with exotic detail. Very good restaurant and highly recommended.
