Day and night, it's bustling with just the right amount of crowd to give it that feeling of leisure and pleasure. We chill by the beach, stroll along the long stretched footpath, eat icecream, laze under shady palm trees, splash at the water park, scooter, roll out a picnic rug and sleep, paint, read. So much to do. Always super super relaxing.

Great view, especially as the sun rises. I would every morning in the pre dawn, very safe with other walkers/ runners & the bird sounds, water washing up on the beach & the silence is so amazing. Strand Park gets busy around 630ish with heaps of breakfast options available.

Loving the beach/es at Soroptimist Park, and most especially the shaded, paved paths that make pup walking so much more pleasant in T’ville. Picnic areas, BBQ’s and toilets cover the essentials, and it’s more than likely that you’ll make friends here. Two- and four-legged.

Great park for little kids and kids with wheelchairs could have some fun too heaps of covered tables and chairs. Nice and green for picnics and magical views of the ocean and Maggie. Another bigger kids wire rope playground. Self weight stationary exercise equipment toilets and heaps of paved walkways.

Great spot to come for a walk, run, cycle, scooter or get on the lovely sandy beach. There is picnic areas, playground, toilets, seating, exercise equipment and if your lucky the coffee van might be there (weekends mainly.

Nice spot to take the kids for a BBQ, walk along the beautiful Ross River or relax on the well maintained lawns. Large fenced kids play area with swings and a climbing station with a sandpit. Toilets are close by near the turtle statue along with more adult sized swings. Climbing wall and basketball half court complete this as a great free adventure. Parking is plentiful in the carpark or on the street.

There is an off leash area for dogs. BBQ areas, shade trees and easily accessible parking. Also solid gazebos with tables and seats. Public toilets and secure play area for children.

My absolute favourite place on the river. Wonderful any time of day, always a few people running, walking, swimming, meeting up but never crowded. So underrated.
