3 Best Parks in Wollongong NSW

A very pretty park just next to the Big beautiful Beach !!! I absolutely love this place! Have very easy access to beach. What a scenic beauty it does have!! Lots of different types of play ground for different age groups . Lots of activities for kids to do there. One of the most organised & big playground i have seen around Sydney for kids. Toilet facilities are the, BBQ facilities are there. U could sit on the beach or just near the banks of the beautiful Lagoon or may be just on the beautiful Green grasses. As the beach is just on the side, there is always nice, relaxing breeze Highly recommend if u are around woolngon area & looking for a nice place to spend your day doing BBQ or picnic with friends or family.

This is a great family park. Lots of space for picnics and kids to run around. You can enjoy the beach, fly kite, buy food from the seafood restaurant at the end of the road, take the kids swimming at a lagoon near the restaurant or surf. There are toilet facilities too and you can walk from Stuart Park to North Beach in 5 to 10 minutes. Great walking along the beach and lots of eating places to choose from. Walk a bit further from north Beach, you will find an outdoor sea pool, the Wollongong harbour and another great place for fish and chips which gets very busy during weekends.

One of our favourite parks to take the kids on a nice day. A neat playground, some picnic tables as well as bike paths running alongside the beach and through the park itself. Toilets are also nearby and there is plenty of parking. Definitely popular on a sunny day or when events are running such as the UCI World Championships.

Clean open space. Good playground and good workout equipment. Maintained foot and bike path. Good picnic huts-often busy. Okay amount of shade. Good working but can often be busy with beach goers, or people parking for St Mary's it functions. Close to levendi and other fish and Chip shops where you can get coffee too.

This is a great weekend getaway destination for us leaving within under 2 hours driving distance. Great beach for swimming and playing in the surf, incredible cycling path - about 20 kilometers long and restaurants for all budgets.

Really nice beach with lots of seats and space for picnics. There is a pretty big playground with lots of play equipment for ages up to 14. The beach has a rock pool as well as a normal pool but both pools have seawater. Beach is approximately 4.5 km long. Good beach for surfing and bodyboarding, for swimming you have to be experienced because the waves are pretty large and usually lots of rips.

Love this peaceful paradise Towradgi beach and park. Gorgeous beach. My favourite since I was a young girl. Top spot for swimming beach or pool, great for picnics, littlelies who want some fun in the park. Beautiful scenery, fresh air, it's absolutely perfect.

Great park for a picnic. Clean toilets with good accessibility. Numerous things to engage the kids in play. Dog friendly beach within hours permitted. We've been coming here for over 10 years and still enjoy this park.
