Lang Park is a great location for family and cultural events. This is right on the City Beach foreshore and has excellent links to the CBD. The park has fantastic open spaces, conservation areas, and sustainable living practices, or just relax and take in some of nature’s finest work. Lang Park provides carnival rides, amusement rides, and outdoor exhibitions. The park is a secure and enjoyable area for people to visit for sporting activities and picnics. The park has recreational activities and indoor and outdoor event spaces. Lang Park is an ideal support location for major foreshore events, including food and wine festivals, outdoor exhibitions, and community activities such as Christmas carols.

Towradgi Beach Park has junior and senior playfields with equipment that rocks and spins. The park has three chairs and tables next to the playground, a shade cloth over toddler play equipment, a cement footpath and five bench seats. Beach fishing is popular, especially during low tide, when you can explore the many rock formations. There is plenty of parking, and BBQs are available. The park provides fun activities encouraging kids and their families to become more active. The park is popular all year round. Towradgi Beach Park extends three kilometres from Towradgi Creek in the north to a southern estuary formed by the following streams of Cabbage Tree Creek and Fairy Creek. The park is located approximately five kilometres north of the Wollongong city centre.
