As a birthday present I did the Zookeeper for a day experience. This will go down as one of the very best days of my life. For any animal lover this experience was sensational. In truth I did very few zookeeper chores - it is more like seeing (and feeding) all the animals from the other side of the fence/glass. It was absolutely spectacular to get up so close to so many magnificent creatures. There are too many to list but each one was so unique. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough and will be looking for another excuse to do it all again!

Had a great time here! I can definitely agree that the pricing feels steep... But after understanding that this is a family run zoo with not much government assistance, the cost didn't feel so bad. Besides price, I had a great time here! Being able to get so up close and personal with so many native and exotic animals really was an amazing experience. I would definitely come here over a government run zoo. Kudos to a great park!

Such a fantastic zoo, season pass is totally worth it. Mostly flat, however the gravel area at the second half of the zoo makes it hard to push a travel pram. Very kid friendly, the kangaroo feeding, the farm feeding, the large playground and splash park is amazing. Highly recommended for families.

Wollongong Botanic Garden is an absolute treasure! The gardens are beautifully maintained, with a fantastic variety of native and exotic plants. There’s so much to explore, from the rainforest area to the peaceful lake and themed garden sections. It’s a great spot for a relaxing walk, a picnic, or a day out with the kids – there’s even a fun children’s playground! The garden also offers seasonal events and guided tours, which are perfect for learning more about the plants and wildlife. Definitely a must-visit for nature lovers and families alike!

Such a beautiful place to visit and the best part, it's free. We spent quite a bit of time walking around and looking at the different areas. Our favourite spot was the amazing rose garden full of wonderful perfumes coming from all the different types of roses there. Clean quiet park with a outdoor reading spot where you can read a book and enjoy nature. Definitely a must if you love Botanical gardens.. As it is a Botanical garden you must leave your beloved pet and sports gear at home but it's definitely worth it.

A great interactive place to take the kids for a day out. Lots to do and see and it’s all hands on. Theres a good chance that they will unconsciously learn by exploring the different stations/exhibits which is covered in the cost of the entry fee. For an additional cost there’s also the planetarium theatre which has different shows on and also the interactive science talks in the Science theatre. A gift shop will also grab their attention on the way out. Parking is free on weekends and they’re open 10-4 every day. Over all the cost is minimal and the kids get to run amok and enjoy themselves.

My three year old absolutely LOVED it! The science museum was a total hit today. She thought it was better than Disneyland. She tore through the place, so excited. There was even a show (which cost just $4) where a really hot scientist guy made bubbles with bubble wands and explained the science behind them (something about spheres, I dunno!) It seems pretty simple but honestly I haven’t seen her have so much fun in ages.

An excellent space to visit regardless of the level of science knowledge you have. This place has a wonderful range of demonstrations, attractions and the most impressive the planetarium! The main stations of attraction doesn't take long to explore, probably 1.5 hours max; however, it is worth your time!
