Absolutely unbelievable rainforest at the bottom of this Kelly full stop mountain bike all the way down from the station and descended 400m down below the canopy and the Lush green vegetation was amazing. There are ferns that reach 8 metres tall this deep in the canopy. Amazing experience!

Such a pleasant surprise. I have ridden past the entry so many times and never realised it there. The view of the valley and glimpses of the waterfall was what made it.

A hidden gem near to Helenburgh Hindu temple with picnic spots and nice walks with waterfall and cliff views. The walk to Kelly Falls rock pool area is for real adventurers.

BLACKBUTT FOREST RESERVE REVIEWS

Great for bikes hikes amd tykes. I ride through here most days the trails are well kept. I take my family "exploring" on the weekend, and they love it. Everyone is super friendly walkers riders and hikers alike.

It is a great place for a quick bush walk or to even walk the dog. Further along the path is a picnic area with plenty of space for the kids to play.

Great place for bushwalking and plenty of space for the family for a nice day out picnic areas and bbq areas.

MOUNT KEIRA RING TRACK REVIEWS

Decent hike with a few challenges The Mt Keira Ring Track is a great hike for those looking for a moderate challenge. It took me about 2 hours with a few short breaks. The track is well-maintained for the most part, but there are a few fallen trees and obstacles that you'll need to navigate around. I've seen some people mention a lack of signage, but as long as you stick to the main path, you shouldn't have any trouble getting lost. The track starts off relatively easy, but there's a steep section that will get your heart pumping. The final descent back to the car park is a nice way to finish the hike. While the track is safe for older kids, I wouldn't recommend it for younger children due to the obstacles and steep sections. Overall, it's a great hike with beautiful views of the Illawarra Escarpment.

We did not complete the entire track as we had our kids all under the age of 9 but very enjoyable and will be back to complete on our own next time.

Beautiful lookout with easy, moderate, and hard tracks. The hard tracks are not really suitable for young kids, but definitely nice for adults.
