HUNTER REGION BOTANIC GARDENS REVIEWS

Beautiful garden nestled in the Newcastle region. Ran by lovely volunteers who are really helpful and welcoming. There's a lot to explore here and we found the aboriginal gardens to be really informative. Looking forward to returning.

We visited the gardens on our way back to Sydney. As a place that I always pass but never enter I can now say I regret that. This is a great place to brake up the trip in those long drives. As it was just short stay for us I can't wait to go back to look at the entire gardens. There is so much to look at as well as fun play ativities for the kids.

We really enjoy visiting the HRBG. Always something different in flower. The Grevilleas and Kangaroo Paw are looking gorgeous. Devonshire tea/coffee is always goos value.

MAITLAND REGIONAL ART GALLERY REVIEWS

The MRAG is as rich in its display as it is with warm accommodating staff. I was welcomed by Ms Belinda and gave me information about the current exhibits and how to go about my way around the galleries. The collections were all dazzling and amazing. I loved the Portraits the most as well as the miniature displays. I definitely would visit again every time I come to Maitland. Inspiring and entertaining!

Such an excellent resource for Maitland. The staff were friendly and very professional. The exhibits were world class. I took my parents, who are in their 80's and they loved it. The venue is very popular, so if you wish to avail yourself of the Cafe it may be worthwhile reserving a table early.

A wonderful museum filled with interesting displays. There are two levels of displays and art work to explore, very well laid out. Friendly staff. A great place to visit. Highly recommend it.

MORPETH MUSEUM REVIEWS

Facinating little place. Took the old folks with me. One went off looking for her favourite trinkets and the other found one of the guys behind the counter and they both talked each other's ears off. Had to run back later to buy some things for them. Overall a fantastic little place to stop in a very picturesque little part of town.

Outstanding place to visit, learnt so much about the historical significance of the town. Entry is by gold coin donation, the rest of the town is amazing. Had lunch at the pub, jazz band playing, just the best day.

Great museum with a lot to look at and activities to participate in. Staff were friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge. Alan was fantastic at explaining the items on display and had great enthusiasm for the museum.
