SHOALHAVEN ZOO REVIEWS
This is a treetops adventure and zoo park, but we just went to the zoo for our visit. It is small/medium sized, family owned zoo providing an amazing sanctuary for a collection of about 30 different types of animals, including monkeys, meerkats, lions and camels. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and from the moment we entered we just felt like we were in some sort of magical land, especially with the peacocks walking everywhere. We had such a wonderful time here and if there isn’t already a fan page for Harry the Carella, we think he certainly needs one!!
Picturesque, easy to navigate zoo with a fair variety of animals from around the world and domestically. Keepers were very passionate and were keen to share their knowledge and encourage guest participation during the regular shows. The zoo also has a modern Cafe and gift shop. There is a Treetops course in the zoo that looked fun as well as adventure trails that we did not have time to attempt. A great value family day out.
Compact zoo with a decent selection of animals on display. Don’t miss the inland Taipan and the lions. There are a few peacocks running around which the kids will love to see and enjoy.

FLEET AIR ARM MUSEUM REVIEWS
As a big naval aviation fan I was really looking forward to coming here and it did not disappoint! There was tons to see lots of memorabilia from ww1-now and everything in-between! Aswell as a plethora of aircraft especially helicopters, I really enjoyed seeing the sea fury and venom but unfortunately the main aircraft I came to see (A4 Skyhawk) is currently moved elsewhere. The reception staff are friendly and let you do your own thing and look around and the gift shop has plenty of awesome things! The simulator was also super fun, but the best part of all is that entry to see all this is completely free!! Definitely recommend to anyone interested traveling by the area!
Located in Nowra Hill, at HMAS Albatross Airforce Base is one of many displays of historic aircraft used by the Australian Defence Force, showing a range of aircraft from different wars and also a large number of artefacts and models explaining how they were used in different situations from warfare combat to peacekeeping operations and even rescue missions. One of the best places to learn some important and interesting history and find out about what it is like to have the honour to protect and defend our nation and close neighbours alongside our allies. These are a great way to honour our brave veterans and current serving defence members.
Very well presented with not a huge collection of aircraft but enough. Mainly post ww2 craft, helicopters and fixed wing. Nice models of battle ships and aircraft carriers. Souvenir shop sells quote a bit of navy apparel. Plenty of parking.
