CATARACT ON PATERSON REVIEWS

At first, we wanted to have the beef cheek, unfortunately, it was sold out. So we ordered the meat and seafood platter which fantasticated me. The best part was the low-temperature smoked salmon on the salad. The waitress was so nice and smiled a lot which made me feel really welcomed. The atmosphere was amazing and temperature was comfortable - not too hot. If I have chance to travel to Launceston again, I literally must have to try the beef cheek lol.

We had potato skins and stuffed cob for entree, frenched chicken and mixed grill for mains. I also had a mango and passion fruit daiquiri! Absolutely Devine. Service was fast and food was amazing.

Wonderful evening the staff were great and the food was sensational, delicious, fresh and the flavours were divine. Highly recommend.

I have no complaints! The food tasted amazing and the service was quite quick. The food quality was incredible! The sauce they provided with the lamb was the perfect. I came from Melbourne and visited here for a break, this was one of the first restaurants I have been to here and is by far the best. The atmosphere, service and food was really the perfect mix altogether. Hope you enjoy.

Lovely restaurant. We did a cruise along the river and then walked down to the Rupert & Hound for lunch. The food was fantastic!! The staff were lovely and very friendly!! Highly recommend.

Can not recommend this place enough! Just did 10 days in Tasmania and this place was our favourite. Scallop enteee was divine, oysters were delicious. The service was lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated.

Quite a surprise! Our recommender wasn't sure about how good this was after last dining more than two years ago. Glad we visited! The lunch was great - especially the prawn cocktail. This was like no other we've had! Top mains and desserts - with excellent presentation. Thank you chefs! Our service host Sheresa ( sorry for spelling) was lovely and super attentive, and we appreciated being allowed to pace ourselves. It is a small and classy establishment and we enjoyed the views. Definitely looking forward to dropping in to the waterfall room or bar area for a cocktail or two before or after dinner. Thank you team Alida.

We had a birthday celebration at Alida. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and the service is great. Yuro was the one who serve us and we really treat so special.

excellent food taste, very accommodating and friendly staff and with perfect ambiance for couples, friends and family. Will surely go back to taste other dishes.
