I enjoyed a quiet chilli hot chocolate afternoon snack. The fun range of hot choc options was clearly explained, and service was friendly and fast.

Hands down the best coffee in Launie! And don't get me started on the amazing chocolates! Our favourite place in Launie!

We dropped in to buy some gifts. Spent over $60 and a little something special added to our bag. try the chocolate hazlenut spread yummy and the peppermint bars.

This small business is crushing the game. Over 170+ bulk lolly options on offer. Amazing milkshakes with dietary specific milk options for those that can’t have the regular milks. Customer service is absolutely brilliant. Wouldn’t recommend a better place to go for some sweet treats.

fantastic milkshakes, and has a lactose free option unlike most places. Lovely staff. They have a very large range of lolly options and I would 10/10 recommend Buying from them.

First time buying from here and the customer service is 10/10! Thankyou for the sweets, will definitely buy from here again!

Lovely place with lots of variety, both chocolates, lollies, and novelty gifts. Friendly staff. Gourlay's Sweet Shop is renowned for its tasty, high quality sweets produced in Launceston, Tasmania since 1896.

I'm talking about the one at Penny Royal. First impression before we came in was that it would be like other sweet factories. However, the owner invited us to taste their sweets and watch the production of the mint drops while he explained it. We had casual chat and what impressed us was the way he cared about his employees and customers. The hand made chocolates were divine and include some unique flavours. Their acid drops, one of the best seller, use a different kind of acid so it's not to overly powerful like citric acid. This place is a gem in Launie!

The staff are very passionate about their heritage and craft. They are excited to share their vast knowledge of the products they sell and the history of their legacy. A must visit for any history buff and/or sweet tooth!
