Perfect! Great service. Great ambiance. And the food......I almost cried with joy. Tender, juicy, perfect flavour, perfectly cooked rib eye. Perfect chips, crispy on the outside soft inside. Delicious gravy. I asked for a no dressing salad and they served a perfectly balanced salad with red onion, capsicum, carrot, cherry tomatoes and lettuce, not boring but delicious. I'll be back, I'll recommend, I loved it. And my wife said ditto.

My medium rare scotch fillet steak and blue cheese was incredible and cooked just right. As well as my friends’ food! The staff are extremely hospitable and catered to every needs and checked on our table very so frequently if we need anything and happy to recommend us great foods and desserts! Wish I had the names of the staff who served us that night so I would’ve put a good review about them as well! Overall great experience.

The baked sweet potato was a little clumsy to eat but the steak burger was magnificent. They fit me in even though they were very busy preparing for a fundraising event. I'd definitely come back if I revisit Ballarat.

Fabulous mid week meal for my husband's birthday. Service was very attentive and friendly. Oysters super fresh. Steaks on point and served with good flavours. Cheese and dessert delicious. Most surprising a excellent vintage bottle of wine at a very good price point. Perfection.

Lovely service and absolutely phenomenal food. The desserts were absolutely fantastic, along with the steaks and the potatoes. Everything is done really well.

My husband and I went here tonight for my husband’s birthday dinner. We both had the steak and a few sides and let me tell you it was delicious. Steak melted in your mouth. My husband said it was the nicest pumpkin he had ever eaten. Service was 5 star and very friendly. Lovely ambiance. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Wonderful meal and service. I have been for the dinner in the past and absolutely loved it. The lunch was fantastic. Four courses was a good amount of food and everything was presented beautifully. Can’t recommend this place enough. You don’t need to travel to Melbourne for high quality dining.

We ate here tonight. Possibly our fourth visit? Without exception amazing food and service - regional Victorian gem. Kind, down to earth and unpretentious staff. Tonight we sat at the counter for the first time and saw just how hard Derek works. Unbelievable. 5 stars.
