Wow, just Wow! Can't state enough how great this place is! They fitted us in at a moments notice and are so friendly. The atmosphere was great, the team are so friendly and attentive offering informative suggestions. Service was spot on, we didn't wait long for anything. We had, by far, one of our greatest meals! We will definitely be returning.
Apparently it was the best steak my partner has ever had and he's a keen steak eater. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak too. The waitress was super kind and helpful in helping us order.
I dined in tonight for my birthday. I’ve been living in Ballarat for about a year and a half now, and of the 15-20 restaurants I’ve been to this was by far the nicest overall. The food was truly delicious, the atmosphere was calming and the staff were kind and actually had real conversations with you beyond just running the food and beverages. If I could go beyond 5 stars I would, and I’ll certainly be back very soon.

DYERS STEAK STABLE REVIEWS
Another visit to Dyers whilst on a country trip and frankly it has even further improved since we were there last year from an atmosphere perspective. It is more alive with the change in decor; however, the food is just as good and the service impeccable. The family running this restaurant are dedicated to their task and it shows. No need to consider any other steak restaurant in Ballarat, this has it all. A very pleasant cognac was enjoyed with the family after dinner, such a lovely, homely place to visit. Such a lovely restaurant. We were very impressed with everything. Steak was amazing served with lovely vegetables. And those who had the duck also loved their meal. Our waitress was really great, bubbly with nice mannerisms. Thoroughly recommend Dyers.
Four stars on atmosphere as it was a little crowded, however the music was lovely and overall five stars, especially food and service. Owners Belle and Sam and their staff looked after us superbly. Two cocktails, main courses, glasses of house red, and one dessert, affogato, and coffee - $285. Worth every cent but sadly will be slightly higher next time owing to massive rises in overhead costs beyond the control of the owners, and there will be a next time.
