3 Best Cafes in Ballarat VIC

We found this hidden cafe around a corner of the street. As we walked in the place, we could smell pleasant aroma of fresh coffee and food. We ordered a chai latte and their waygu beef hamburger with chips. The coffee was strong and rich, the beef burger was superb! The beef patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, the burger bread was slight sweet and very soft. I enjoyed every bite of it! The sweet potato chips were also crispy and sweet. The cafe was quiet when we walked in, we enjoyed their vibe and delicious food. Another thing is that they didn’t charge us for weekend surcharges, which was really nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Hydrant. Fantastic atmosphere, great customer service and delicious food. Coffee was absolutely superb.

Delightful brunch with family, affordable, and fast serving. Kids love the rainbow pancake and brownies. Recommended.

cafe was busy, we went at lunch time. staff were very friendly. perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch. delicious meals prepared quickly at this place. the food was amazing and the portion sizes were generous. Cafe Lekker is a great food experience! Everything is prepared on the premises including cakes, dressings and relishes.

The food was amazing and the portion sizes were big. We couldn’t finish our food even though it was so delicious. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. The cafe was a cute set up where everyone knew each other. It was nice seeing that passing through.

The best breakfast in Ballarat by far Had the Lekker breakfast all the time, delicious & full The ladies there were so friendly & attentive to our order.

Pretty top food. I had some chilli prawn pasta which was amazing. Such good clean food. Really taste and really fresh. I also had an apple cake and a coffee with was also really great. Worth travelling to Ballarat for! Amazing service staff as well. Super friendly.

I love the coffee here. Food is very good. Staff ate great! Parking can be tricky as it's on the main street in town, however side streets always have parking. The only negative for me is the extremely low lighting which makes it feel a bit dark and cold.

There’s no doubt this is the classiest breakfast brunch lunch spot in town….great food, great service, great atmosphere…. And excellent music…. Plenty of albums to buy too.
