Delightful little bakery serving fresh donuts, pastries, and other limited time creations. I purchased two cinnamon donuts and a lime-ington in a takeaway box. There is almost always a line to get in and with good reason; the food is worth the wait! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Perth. Thank you Chu Bakery!

I've visited Chu bakery several times and lined up like everyone else, but I do find the pastries drier than I prefer. Nonetheless, it's still one of the best bakeries in Perth and I understand why it's so popular. My favourite is easily the almond crossaint.

I was strongly recommended to try this and it was worth the effort to go all the way there. It is a standalone shop selling the famous apple strudel and other pastries. I got a half size and was pleasantly surprised by its taste. The apples tasted so fresh! It's not sourish like the others that I have tasted. The whole pastry tastes so fluffy-light and it's really delicious. Best eaten fresh. I kept half in the fridge for the next morning; apples still taste good (and I wonder how they don't turn brown?) But the pastry has collapsed and not crispy anymore.

Came to visit family in Perth and they have recommended this place since we planned our trip and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT !!! We got their signature Apple strudel , the pastry was so light and buttery , the filling was so well balanced. 10/10 perfect dessert to have as a family , or just for any occasion really ! please give this place a try !

Friendly staff, spacious shop and many choices of cakes and pastries. The apple strudel is definitely a must to have. Even the custard puff is nice and tasty The shop has good location since there's parking all around the area. Shop close on Sunday.

The staff are friendly and attentive.

Mostly French delicacy and they are really delicious. Was crowded and queue formed outside the shop. Service was very good and cheerful. Ambience is French inspired. Some sitting available both sheltered inside and some round table outdoor. Cosy and nice to watch. The street and people while enjoying breakfast. Highly recommended.

Magnificent Continental roll, great tasting and just the right amount of chewiness in the roll. Finished off with an extremely delicious layered coffee/chocolate layered cake - wanted more! Coffee just right temperature and chocolate after taste. Thoroughly recommended.
