If you want to experience a touch of fine dining with some familiar favourites, then this is the place for you. The soft shell crab was sublime. The prawn risotto was out of this world. But I enjoyed the grilled chicken. I did not think I would be full, but I surprisingly was. It was an explosion of flavour with each bite.

Went for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night and had a fabulous evening. First of Emily at the bar served up some delicious cocktails. Our waiter James kept us entertained throughout the night and had great knowledge on all the wines. Head chef Alex served up a delicious tasting menu. Would highly recommend!!!

Great cocktails and quick customer service. Our favorite go-to place in Mackay for after dinner drinks.

We were passing through Mackay on our way south and found their Steak night $20 offer. It was cooked to perfection (rare) and the quality was excellent. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long while. I didn’t want the dinner to end! Congratulations and thanks to the chef.

It's always an exciting gastronomic adventure visiting the Grove. Their lamb shanks and mash are out of this world. Service is always with a smile. The kids are always treated well, and the ice cream with the kiddies meal is a good treat. Next time, I will try the calamari. We also ordered the chicken schnitzel, rump, and battered fish off the kiddies menu.

Fabulous menu selection including gluten free options. Check out Friday afternoons when they have a barbecue!

My husband and I have been in Mackay for close to two years, and we both agreed this was the best meal we have eaten. We ordered the garlic bread add cheese and bacon and the Japanese Wagyu it was cooked to perfection. The garlic sauce and mushroom sauce were delicious. The service was provided with a smile and I felt very comfortable dinning there. Thank you for an amazing dinning experience and amazing food.

Best steak I've had in a long time cooked to perfection compliments to the chef. More then generous meal sizes with a calamari entree aswell. Friendly staff and topped off with a few Jack Daniels. Parking: Plenty of parking out front in street or beside the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp to the door.

Had breakfast here this morning as part of our stay at the hotel, staff were incredible, food was good :)
