“Bluewater Lagoon features a leisure facility on the picturesque Pioneer River in the heart of Mackay's city centre. The Bluewater Lagoon provides a safe, all-around, stinger-free swimming environment. They offer disabled and elderly access with handrails and suitable water levels. The park has an interactive children's water playground and a drop bucket. For those feeling hungry in the park, there is a variety of snacks, drinks and ice cream. The Bluewater Lagoon is monitored by lifeguards, but parents must keep an eye on children at all times. To drop in for some delicious coffee and pancakes at Pancake Bliss.

BLUEWATER LAGOON REVIEWS

With a very warm welcome water temperature of 20.3°, the is the best place to come and relax, or bring the kids and let the have some fun. And the best thing is that it's FREE. The water is clean and the grounds are well maintained. We went and spent a couple hours in the water just paddling around and relaxing in the shallow waters. We didn't bring the kids this time but these is heaps there for them to do.

Always a good time for the kids, not sure why the slide is only suitable for 110cm kids and up seeing as most Big 4 parks have much more extreme variations with no limits, but otherwise its great. Always clean and well maintained, great facilities, little shop there has a decent assortment of refreshments for the kids. Parking can be a trick if it's busy but just get there earlier. Always a fun time.

Bluewater Lagoon is THE best place in Mackay to enjoy a day in and out of the water! The water is clean and warm and the waterfall is awesome to sit underneath . People of All ages can enjoy the comfort of the Lagoon and the little kids have a bonus Fun Park to enjoy. Bring your grandkids or bring a date, this is Mackays BEST place!

WAKE HOUSE AUSTRALIA REVIEWS

Very friendly staff, instructor was knowledgeable and patient. I had never done anything like it before and he helped coach me into standing up. Tasty food at reasonable prices from the cafe.

Nice little walk path and if you like to learn a new water sports activity there wakeboarding. The cafe is great for those that like to watch on the sidelines and witness the wipeouts and they have reasonable prices.

It was a fun experience. The staff is very friendly, relaxed and professional, the facilities is excellent and I had an amazing time.
