3 Best Cafes in Brisbane, QLD

Hidden down an alley in the cbd is my go to for breakfast foods. Basement vibes, good music and great food. Today I had the smashed avocado “brew style” with poached eggs and bacon. The serving was generous with a good balance of flavours. The fresh juice is actually properly fresh and not just a bottled juice dumped in a glass. Would recommend for date night or catch up with the girls. Definitely more busy on weekends. I came in at 12pm on a Tuesday and had a pick of seats. If the music isn’t your vibe and you’re flying solo, just listen to your own music, the food is worth it.

The best breakfast we've had in ages! The coffee was exceptional, and the service was warm and welcoming plus our meals arrived quickly. Hubby was particularly impressed with his big breakfast! This hidden gem has a nice vibe and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! We will be back next time we are in Brisbane.

Basement feel establishment in an unexpected location off Albert Street. Always busy when we go there which is a good sign. Minor error with the food order, but it was quickly corrected! Gents toilets had some graffiti that was obviously not part of the decor. Good experience all round.

Good cafe, nice ambience, decent service, decent prices, really nice menu, particularly regarding food choices. I got the big brekkie, which was good, but sadly the sausage was average (fairly bland, I'd rather just eat something vegan like a fritter and save the life of the cow I just ate to no enjoyment whatsoever) and the bread wasn't up to typical cafe bread standards. The poached eggs were also hard-boiled. Looked over and other people's poached eggs were the same. Whoever is cooking should definitely learn how to poach an egg, pretty essential in a bougie cafe. Other than that I enjoyed my experience and will be back..

Fantastic dog friendly cafe. The staff are super friendly and were helpful. The food is delicious and the service is quick. Great cafe and garden area at the back where dogs are served with puppychinos and doggy ice cream.

Fantastic cafe. Stopped here for some lunch recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sitting in the courtyard outside is excellent and the food was delicious.

Amazing atmosphere and vibe. Food was good. Presented amazingly well. Service was OK, could have been better, but the place was busy. This did not impact the experience. Coffee was amazing. Really enjoyed the experience. The pastries were excellent. Would like to go back again.
