“Dr Chin Lim is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, and then he undertook his specialty training in Cardiology at the St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. He established Cairns' first Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in 1999 and implanted North Queensland's first ICD (implantable defibrillator) in 2002. Dr Lim is actively interested in clinical and preventative cardiology, coronary and structural heart disease management, and device-based treatment of arrhythmias and heart failure; implanting and follow-up of loop recorders, defibrillators, pacemakers, and cardiac resynchronisation devices. Dr Lim is multilingual and speaks Hokkien, English, Malay, and Cantonese. Cairns Cardiology offers a comprehensive range of health monitoring and patient consultation services.
