“Dr Andrew McNabb obtained his medical education from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He completed his Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr McNabb is a general neurologist with a particular interest in neuromuscular conditions (NCS/EMG) and strokes. He joined Cairns Neurophysiology as a consulting neurologist in 2012. He is proactive about professional development and attends many national and international conferences, incorporating evidence-based practices to ensure he maintains up-to-date standards. Dr McNabb recognises the importance of education for junior staff and dedicates much of his time to training junior doctors. He runs additional educational sessions for them and, as a result, was nominated for and won the Teacher's Award at Cairns Hospital in 2014. Dr McNabb practices at Cairns Neurophysiology, which provides centralised services for patients and general practitioners in Cairns and Far North Queensland.”
