He graduated from the University of Dundee with the University Medal and First Class Honours in Medicine. His research has been published in leading cardiology journals. So happy with my treatment and care at Central Heart. Dr Tom Ford is highly skilled in his field and is a great communicator. He heads an amazing and caring team; the nursing staff are wonderful. After many months of terrible tiredness, the discovery of a 90% blocked artery and the thought of surgery came as a great shock. However, the whole experience was made as comfortable as possible. The feeling of being alive and of returned energy within a couple of days, was truly remarkable. Thank you to all.

I was referred to Dr Ford experiencing symptoms of angina. Dr Ford performed an angiogram and inserted a stent in a coronary artery. The procedure was performed with the utmost professionalism. My heart is now fully vascularised and two weeks post the procedure, I was sufficiently confident to travel to Antarctica for a month. My dealings with Dr Ford have all been professional, confident and reassuring. I would unreservedly recommend Dr Ford and take comfort in having found an outstanding cardiologist.

Professor Ford dedicates his life to saving lives . We all only get one life and he works extraordinary hours putting others before himself as I see it . He says “ Call me Tom “ and makes you feel like a friend when you are with him. There are no appropriate words to say how we “his patients “ feel about his work . So I’ll just say “thanks” .
