“Dr Damon Shorter is a paediatrician who treats children from birth to 18 years old. He studied at Sydney University and Westmead Children’s Hospital, focusing on critical care. His training included working with the Newborn and Pediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS) and in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care units. Dr Shorter is dedicated to teaching. He is the Course Director for Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) Australasia and teaches medical students from Newcastle University. He is also the Central Coast Regional Pediatric Examination Coordinator for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
