3 Best Child Care Centres in Maitland, NSW

My daughters have both started at story house this year and I could not be happier with the care they have received. We use early preschool and vacation care At the service and have only positive words to say and have raved recommended the service regularly! I feel absolutely comfortable and confident sending my children there while I go to work, knowing they are cared for so well and have the most fabulous time every single day.

I cannot recommend the wonderful staff at Story House Maitland enough. From the moment the kids walk through the door they are greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere. My sons are in the toddle room and attend the OOSH/Vacation Care program and we could not be happier with the care they receive. It's great to see the regular updates of their day through the Story Park app but my favourites are the little stories I receive from the staff at pickup, even when speaking with staff who may not have been in their room, they all know who the boys are and have something to share. The boys are in care for such long days its such a comfort to know they are being nurtured and their little personalities celebrated.

This is the absolute best school for young children. I will be so sad the day my son has to move on to big school. My daughter went through this school also and now uses the OOSH SERVICE. They have become like family to us. The help and support offered is just incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. My son is slightly out of the box with his learning and they have been nothing short of amazing when it comes to supporting him. The outdoor play space is unlike any other I have seen around but ultimately it’s the educators and director that makes this place second to none. Best decision I ever made choosing this school for my children.

Very friendly staff, willing to listen if you have any concerns about your child. They have optional parent-teacher interviews to look at milestones and set new goals. That’s great! They have different activities each week and share pictures and observations with parents. Our baby enjoy the activities that the educators do to give the kids different experiences and exposures that they normally wouldn’t have. As well as the interactions they have with the educators and their peers.

With 3 kids across two rooms/age groups this is an Amazing centre and staff with a great focus on each child's individual development and milestones. Fantastic communication and interpersonal connections amongst staff and families. A real wholesome community feel. Wonderful menus, exciting incursions and educational programs

Fieldsend ELC has been great for my 2 year old son. The staff are outstanding and have developed really genuine relationships with both myself and my son. They tap into the kids interests at the time and develop activities based around some of those interests. The facilities are excellent and the communication provided to families throughout the day is fantastic, I always know that he is having a great day there. I would highly recommend the centre to anyone in the area.

I cant rate this centre high enough. The staff are fantastic. They are so warm and welcoming. It really feels like a little family, not just a day care. There is always time made to chat if needed, and my child absolutely adores it here. On top of that she has absolutely blossomed since starting at Goodstart Cessnock. Her talking is amazing, toilet training is a breeze and the staff work with the family every single day to benefit the little ones.

Goodstart Thompson’s rd is an amazing centre, the staff are fantastic and work with each family individually but also have group goals as well. The entire set up is open and welcoming and everything feels really genuine. Highly recommend checking them out.
