St Patrick's Catholic Parish Gosford holds prominence as one of the renowned churches on the Central Coast. Established in 1910 by the Sisters of St Joseph, its primary aim was to cater to the needs of the Gosford community and its surrounding areas. Over time, the growing population led to the church surrounded by bustling roads and railway lines. Recognizing this challenge, in 1965, Fr. Patrick McManus procured land in East Gosford to construct a new St. Patrick's Church capable of accommodating over 600 worshippers. The funds for this new church were sourced from the proceeds of the previous church's sale, in addition to the church's expansion, St. Patrick's School was inaugurated at East Gosford in 1959 under the stewardship of the Sisters of St Joseph. Subsequently, following the departure of the last residents from the convent, the property was repurposed. It now serves as both accommodation for the parish priests and office spaces currently leased as commercial offices. St Patrick's Parish Gosford boasts a thriving and cooperative community where dedicated staff and volunteers work in harmony under the guidance of the Parish Administrator, striving to achieve the best outcomes possible.

EV is a warm and welcoming church! A community where you can truly learn about who God is, and what he has done for us through Jesus Christ, where you can be supported and discipled to mature in your faith in Christ. It is a Church of integrity and transparency that doesn’t shy away from the truth and invites those who have questions.
I go to youth here and I'm in year 10. This is really great and so authentic! I recommend the Friday night youth to all teens of the Central coast! And I recommend this church to everyone else!!!
