We cannot speak highly enough of Chuck. He taught both of our daughters to drive, one in an auto, the other in a manual. Both were successful in passing their driving tests on the first attempt. Chuck has been fantastic to deal with and we could not have asked for a better instructor. He is very patient and supportive with his students. He would take the time at the end of each lesson to discuss with us as parents the outcome of each lesson and he provided great feedback. His lessons have a strong emphasis on road safety that ensures students build more confidence with each lesson that passes. Its been a great journey with Chuck and my wife and I are sad that our interactions have now come to end. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to anyone searching for a fantastic driving instructor and have no doubt entrusting him to start your young drivers off on the right path. I recently had the pleasure of having Chuck assigned as my daughter’s driving instructor in Newcastle NSW. I can't recommend him enough! Chuck made her feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel and he built rapport quickly. His teaching style is clear and patient, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. Chuck provided valuable feedback and encouragement to both my daughter and I. He was always accomodating of my often last minute requests and made every attempt to schedule lessons at times that were convenient. My daughter now has her P’s and I feel confident in her ability to drive safely and sensibly. Highly recommend.

Learn Drive Survive completed a refresher and Older Driver Assessment for my 85 year old father last week. He was quite anxious about the whole thing. Dee reassured him over the phone prior that it would be done in a calm environment. When he met Grant for the assessment he straight away felt at ease with Grants calm nature. My father successfully completed his assessment and left with some tips on things he can improve on. He’ll hopefully see Grant again in 2 years time for his next Older Driver Assessment. Thank you Grant and Dee.

I wish we'd found you sooner! John is a fantastic instructor who helped my son gain the confidence and practical skills needed to go for his license. We've had a couple of different driving schools - one didn't have online booking and never replied to messages, and the other gave my son an instructor who took the lesson as an opportunity to vent his political views rather than focus on teaching my son how to drive. Thank goodness we found you!

Thank you John for the excellent guidance getting my license. I went from inexperienced and unconfident to passing my test with an almost perfect score. His approach was friendly, informative and coached me in all areas I was struggling with, always letting me know where I needed to focus on and making sure we nailed those areas. Absolutely the best driving school in town. Very experienced,humble and knowledgeable instructor. I have been driving for 10 years, I consider myself a safe driver but I failed my exam in 1st attempt. Took sessions with Jay’s A1 and I realised that there are so many aspects of this exam which are important and routinely ignored by learners. In my opinion it is very difficult to pass this test without guidance from an experienced instructor like Jays. Highly recommend anybody who wants to take the driving test.
