Anyone who says anything bad really has nothing to compare from. This place is the best in town and within 100 km of anywhere else. Service is fast, food is fresh and fish is cheaper than other places to buy and cook yourself. Scallops are amazing and the prawn cutlets huge but the Red Throat Emperor is enough to feed two people so generous are the portions.

Best fish and chips in Mackay! Wow!!! Amazing busy local spot where the owners look after their hard working staff with days off to rest! Truely the best- If you go here, you will be blessed.

These guys are local, friendly and the food, especially the chips are crunchy, salty and hot. Went to get chips but saw a steak meal deal and got it. It was highly recommended.

I had a Gluten-Free crumbed fish burger. Very tasty and fresh. The chips were different to other fish and chip shops… But delicious and crunchy and not oily! Really enjoyed the meal. It’ll be what I crave when I want takeaway from now on.

Had a mince burger tonight. Absolutely delicious. A proper mince patty! So good! Will definitely be back.

Haven’t been for a while but the standard has been maintained. Tonight’s battered barramundi and chips was superb. Highly recommended. These lads are good cooks and nice people.

Highly Recommend this Lovely Store. Known as 'Fish n Chips' as I walk in, I always feel welcomed. Great staff, food and atmosphere. If you're Hungry, stop in at the Milton St Store.

Fantastic fish and chips!! We had the very best fish and chips! Crispy and golden on the out side, melt in your mouth on the inside! Chip we're hot and crispy, and stayed that way, no oily after taste. Also have the calamari rings. They were beautiful and fresh and not chewy at all. Do yourself a favour and go and see Cathy, she will look after you.

Everything I have ever had here is excellent. The food, the service & the convenience items. I'll be a regular.
