“Beechworth Golf Club is an 18-hole sand greens course situated in the tranquil surrounds of Baarmutha Park on the edge of Beechworth. They have just completed laying out a Par 3 course that sits alongside the 18-hole course. They have seen their membership continue to increase, and the golf course now has 105 members across all categories. In 2016, they had 41 financial members! A big welcome to all their new members. The only Par 5 on the course requires a good drive onto a large landing area or up between two large gum trees. They are very reachable in two with a good drive, with the fairway sloping left to right near the scrape. Additionally, the golf course conducts programs for both men and women.”
