“The Army Museum Bandiana is a diverse Army Museum, with 5,000 square metres of Army display under one roof. The Museum was established in 1976 as the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps (RAAOC) General Museum in its present location. The Museum building is unique because it is a WW2-era timber-framed warehouse with corrugated iron sheeting. The Army Museum Bandiana has numerous displayed uniforms, including WWI, WW2 and the present day. One hundred fifty weapons, including machine guns and pistols and a historic display of over 150 military vehicles, including bikes, cars, trucks, heavy equipment and armoured vehicles, can also be viewed up close. The Army Museum Bandiana is a museum that will surprise you with the sheer size of the collection. The Army Museum Bandiana stands as a testament to the rich and varied history of the Australian Army.”
