The road passes by many lookouts, rest areas, picnic areas, barbecues, and other facilities. The Regional Park ensures visitors with a pleasant and relaxing environment.

2025 Update: Barwon River is a Kid-friendly hike and there are a few places you can start the walk from. Can do a loop walk, which is quite long or a short one, depending on what you like. The visitors also capture beautiful photos. And there are running, walking, bike riding, kids and adults of all ages. Barwon River provides playgrounds, disc golf, art installations, beautiful and varied vegetation and birds. They provide the Picnic tables. The visitor trails are to walk in various locations. Some great scenic locations were found while on the kayak, too. Barwon River offers is to ride around the river. 19km give or take of the visitor. They provide Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot.
