Yarra Bend Park is best known for Dights Falls. The park was built on the natural rock bar across the Yarra. The park has a grey-headed flying fox. It features a viewing point and picnic area. Yarra Bend Park also provides golf courses for entertaining the kids. The trail will access tracks to the top and up the river for another 100 m. Yarra Bend Park has one of the best waterfalls, with plenty of water flowing. There is a picnic area with a small cafe where you can buy delicious pastries. Yarra Bend Park has an enormous area of dog-friendly off-leash areas.”

The Dandenong Ranges are a true paradise for nature lovers. With its towering mountain ash trees, lush fern gullies, and panoramic views, this region offers endless opportunities for hiking, picnicking, and birdwatching. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

If you really want to get out in the bush with great walking tracks then this is the place to go. There's also plenty of parking spaces and a Cafe. The 1000 steps is the best if your into exercise and want a challenge. It's surrounded by bushland so makes walking a very nice experience.

Beautiful place ! We had awesome forest walk experience and it’s very refreshing!

My husband and I spent our Saturday in this park. We went there on foot. It's not too far from the city. And I love it! Its nature, views, and river are so beautiful. The roads are wide enough for both walkers and bicycle riders. Although the weather was chilly, I barely felt cold being busy enjoying the fresh air. There is a picnic area with a small cafe where you can buy delicious pastries and different kinds of burgers. Reasonable price and generous serve! Highly recommend visiting!

This place is a gem in the middle of the city! It is huge though. You can explore it on many visits. We can see so many activities happening, people running with their dogs, walking, rowing in the river (I think you can rent a boat), kids playing, and even weddings. There is a super cool cafe there (Fairfield Park Boathouse) with a delicious menu (try the scones!). Sunset is amazing over the bridge. Also, check the huge bats living there! At the sunset, they fly all over the park. It's amazing! To sum up, it's a must-go if you live in Melbourne!

Brimbank Park is an absolute gem for family outings! With numerous BBQ spots scattered throughout, it's an ideal place for picnics. The playground adds an extra layer of fun for kids, while the presence of a cafe and public toilets make it convenient for everyone. It's a delightful spot to spend quality time outdoors with loved ones.

Loved the park. Beautiful river trails, good community feel and beautiful place. Great to take dog walks on leash. A great cafeteria in the middle and ample parking.
