We visited the Melbourne Museum to see the Titanic Exhibition with our 9 year old son and it was just brilliant! The way it was setup was methodical and really told the story of the Titanic from start to finish and immersed us in the story. We found the Museum to be a great place for an exhibition and would attend again in the future!

There's something for all ages at Melbourne Museum! Whilst we went especially for the T-Rex exhibit, we were very impressed at the range of activities for all ages, especially the ones to engage young kids in everything the museum had to offer. It's a massive place, and if you want to be thorough, you'll need more than one visit. The staff were very friendly, helpful and patient with visitors on what was a really busy day (school holidays). Our favourite section was the dinosaurs and giant whale skeleton, and we all enjoyed searching for the 100 tiny dinosaurs throughout the museum. The forest garden is really lovely and a nice way to escape the bustle of indoors. As a family I recommend bringing some food as the cafe can add quite a bit of cost to the day. Plenty of amenities inside and extremely family friendly. We took public transport and it was very easy to get to. We look forward to visiting again, and a stroll through Carlton Gardens was a nice way to wrap up the day.

Highly recommend a visit to this museum. The dinosaur portion was truely fascinating. The big whale skeleton and snake skeleton were amazing. Plenty of food and activities for little ones. Do not waste your time in the cue to get tickets, as their website is great to use - took me max 5 minutes to get a ticket online than lining up and processing a physical ticket.

My visit to the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne was profoundly moving. The grand architecture and the beautifully landscaped gardens. Inside, the eternal flame and Stone of Remembrance evoke deep reflection. The panoramic city views and insightful exhibitions made the experience both enriching and unforgettable. Great outdoor space for catching up with friends and family. They also host a range of international festivals. Fed Square is just across the road from Flinders Street Station. There are a few toilets at Federation Square. The most convenient one is the one next to 7-11.

Federation Square is a place open to the public, there can be presentations of all kinds, a giant screen for sports, stage events, and it also shares a place with good entertainment venues and its museum that you should visit. It is the reference point for everything. In December visit its giant tree with music and its spectacular decoration.
