3 Best Hotels in Townsville QLD

Love staying here... rooms are spacious, super clean and comfy beds & pillows. Restaurants at great with food to suit everyone and the casino although small, is there if your inclined. The view from the room out to Magnetic Island is just stunning. Price per night is good considering all the above.

Rooms have plenty of space and great views of Magnetic island or Castle Hill. Room service was always prompt and the people were great but the real highlight was walking out the front to see the pool area. Hopefully next time I can bring the family to enjoy it!

Beautiful hotel! Wonderful views, spectacular pool, extremely comfortable beds, service and meals amazing. The buffet Friday night was excellent! Highly recommend if staying in Townsville

This property is crazy good value for a 5-star hotel and it definitely delivers on that claim. Plentiful amenities and charming rooms. Cafe on the ground floor and restaurant located on top, all the food I had was tasty, staff are great. The only downside I could think of is probably noise as the pool, rooftop restaurant and rooms are on the same level. My room's door was steps away from the restaurant, however when I was there it was only open in the evening until about 10pm so it wasn't a huge issue. Ideal location if you are planning to visit Magnetic Island or transiting though the Breakwater Terminal. Definitely consider staying here! Absolute gem of a place.

Only let down was that the mattress was a little lumpy, so I think they will need to be replaced in the next year or so, but everything else made up for it. 5+ stars. It's right near clubs and bars so don't stay if you like to have an early, quiet Friday and Saturday night.

Loved the Rambutan!!! Stayed here with my partner for three nights with and had the best customer service and food. The restaurant upstairs was delicious with the best food and great prices with the best customer service from Dale. We were able to check in early, with breakfast downstairs got a free coffee, and great deals at the restaurant. Rooms were very clean and great location.

Great location and great view from our room. Was really awesome to see the ocean and have a nice balcony to wake up to. I loved having the kitchen area on the side too, came in very handy. Although there wasn't a stove it was good to have microwave and big fridge.

Basic accommodation at reasonable price in a great location. With views to magnetic island and Castle Hill and great proximity to shops bars and beach I'd recommend Aquarius to those on a medium to low budget.

Awesome sea view with cool breeze. Nice place to relax and enjoying the view. Convenient and walking distance to eatery places.
