Specialty:

Individual Counselling Trauma OCD Excessive Anger Addictions Self-Esteem and Men’s Issues Depression Relationship Counselling for Straights Gays Trans and Gender Diverse Couples Loneliness Anger Management Spiritual Individual Anxiety Marriage and Couples Counselling Family Counselling Emotional and Mental Challenges

Highlands Counselling Launceston is dedicated to helping couples work through their difficulties in a way that will eventuate in their relationship, becoming stronger and deeper than when they first sensed, 'Yes, this is the person I want to be with.' David del Sole is a counsellor/psychotherapist who will help you learn how to discuss even those no-go areas you and your partner have avoided for years, for fear of it blowing up in your face. The key skill clients will learn is deep listening, listening that hears beyond words to what the other is experiencing so that each can feel, 'Yes, this is a person who (at last) understands me.' The session is non-judgmental and legitimises and supports each partner's needs. Payment is made by donation. Suggested donation for the employed: $110/hr.; for the unemployed or pensioners: $55/hr. Private health fund rebates are available. He utilises psychotherapeutic models such as person-centred, focusing-oriented therapy, relational gestalt, psychodynamic, transpersonal, archetypal, internal family systems and process-oriented psychology.

2025 Update: Online sessions available via Skype or Zoom.
