I popped into the store today to buy some nose grip pads because my glasses that I purchased in another country were a mile too big for me. The lady that assisted me (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she was tall and wearing round glasses) could not have been nicer or more helpful. She took the time to assess the fit and tightened the frames for me at no charge. Comparing this to the experience I had at a competitor that I would usually buy from the day before, who said they couldn’t help, consider me a Bailey Nelson customer as a result of this experience. I walked away talking about how wonderful she was and how grateful I am that the annoying issue I had had been fixed. Thank you.

I recently visited the store as I am on holiday from Qld and the first day I accidentally trod on my perscription sunglasses and broke off one of the arms. I called in to see if there was any possibility of getting them fixed and the store manager (Angela) was extremely helpful and replaced the frames for no cost. I would just like to thank you all very much as it meant the holiday could start without any annoying problems. Excellent customer service.

I’m a customer of Specsavers, but needed a pair of contact lenses on a public holiday. OPSM was the only optometrist open. They were more than happy to accept my prescription from Specsavers, and the contacts were actually much cheaper than I thought. The store manager Taneka(sp?) asked if I had private health or RACT (which I was a bit confused because RACT is my car insurance) so I said no, but after looking it up discovered that RACT members get a discount. Very impressed with the service I received, despite not being an OPSM customer.

I loved the service at OPSM. I was after sunglasses and the lady who helped me just explained to me where I could find all the options, told me I could try on as many as I wanted to and left me on my own to try them and look at them at my own pace and will. This is the best when trying on glasses, as you don’t want to have someone with you all the time. They checked on me again when they could see I was done and the purchase process was nice and easy. I didn’t want to buy the glasses on display as I saw they had fingerprints but I didn’t even need to ask for another pair as they told me I could either take those ones or order a new one from the warehouse, arriving in about 5 days either to the store or to my home. I definitely recommend.
