3 Best Parks in Hervey Bay QLD

Great playground. This area is well lit even when it gets dark. Not sure why kids would want to still play here after it gets dark though. The equipment is probably better suited for bigger kids given the heights involved. Otherwise even bigger kids (adults) may have to accompany some of the younger kids up. The ground is nice and soft in case you can't make it all the way up. But the safer option would be to climb back down again.

A little bit limited for younger kids, but great for slightly older kids or adults alike. The climbing frame was really quite tall, and there's a height recommendation for kids who want to climb this and go down one of the tree large slides. Otherwise, there's a sandpit with diggers, swings, small climbing ropes, a wheelchair swing or computerised touch games for adults. The area was kept clean and there were several benches for picnics, alongside toilet facilities too.

There really was something fThis place should be illegal but great it isn't. QLD is probably one of the few states left where kids can hang 10 metres from the ground on massive slides. For big kids only but this place must be seen to be believed.or everyone. I loved the team play digital game and the very tall slide!

A beautiful, clean and relaxing beach front adjacent to the park area. Dogs are allowed on leash up until a certain point along the beach (although this is not very well sign posted), and the on leash requirement is due to nesting birds nearby. There's a few shallow rock pools to see too, and a great place for sunsets or sunrises. The nearby car park is a good size and overall the area was pleasant for a quick stroll with the dog.

A chance discovery while passing through Hervey bay. Beautiful, clean and very relaxing. The council authorities for Hervey bay has done a great job keeping this park clean and suitable for families. Great spot for a picnic and a stroll.

Nice walk along the beach and out on the rocks. Playgrounds are fun and clean. Amenities block clean. Park grounds are maintained neatly. Bbq areas in a nice location.

Great place for an interesting walk, a swim, picnics, BBQs and swings for the youngster's to get active in the open air. Playground: Good area for children to play and easily supervised from surrounding bbq tables and benches Restrooms: Always well maintained Dog-friendliness: This is a local dog walking area. In general the dogs are well socialised and obedient. Please do not let your dog off the leash unless YOU are IN CONTROL. Picnic area: Lovely picnic bbq area that is used by individuals, families & social group.

Esa park is on the beach at Pt Vernon at the north end of the Esplanade on Hervey Bay. Its shaded playgrounds with BBQ, toilets are perfect for kids, picnics and is dog friendly. The adjacent beach is an off leash dog area. A walk at low tide revealed shells, coral, driftwood, bones and unusual rock formations. The access from the parking area to the Park is flat making it pram and wheelchair friendly.

Beautiful little park at the beachfront Point Vernon. Plenty to keep kids busy, then when they've had enough, it's a 20 metre walk down to the beach to find all kinds of shells, rocks, coral, etc. Great place to play or chill.
