“WetSide Water Park is an oceanfront aquatic centre that provides waterslides, a splash pad, a wave machine, and a casual eatery. The park hosts the following features: waterslides, an Aqua Ninja adventure course, a water play area, a coffee shop, a fish and chip shop, and an adjacent restaurant. The facility closes for winter maintenance from May to September each year. WetSide Water Park is a pleasant, family-friendly park designed with something for everyone. The water park is made up of nine linked challenges that test strength, agility, coordination, and stamina. The water jets, cannons, and dumpers are activated as participants move through the courses. To raise the stakes, participants are timed, and spectators can also activate water jets, sprays, and cannons to hose down participants.

“Splashside is a new water play park in Anzac Park, joining the all-abilities playground to ensure a great day out for the whole family. The water play area includes stream jets, a roller slide, cosmic cannons, sugarcane spray poles, a sensory wall, an in-ground trampoline, a waterfall, crystal fountains, a carousel, and a spoonful of sugar dunking buckets. The park has facilities like seating arrangements, accessible toilets, various restrooms, fitness stations, and multiple playground pieces, including a Liberty Swing. In 2024, the Fraser Coast Ability Awards will be held annually to celebrate the accomplishments of people with disabilities and those supporting them within the Fraser Coast community. In the 2025 Australia Day Awards, the Fraser Coast Australia Day Awards are presented annually to local citizens and groups who are making a difference in their community or accomplishing great things.

2025 Update: Splashside provides a parking facility from Queen Street, accessed from Cheapside Street and Lions Drive.”

WETSIDE WATER PARK REVIEWS

Great place to stop and cool off. Parking can be tricky if it’s busy. The main splash park is free but you can pay a low cost for the other slides and timed ninja park. These are paid for for a certain number of turns. Lots of tables and chairs available, some shaded. Lockers available near the toilets - BYO padlock or get one from the kiosk. Showers also in the cubicle blocks. 2 cafes right next to the park so easy to get food & beverages and then take them to eat. The kids had a blast.

Great place for kids (young and young at heart), plenty of free off street parking around, with a delicious cafe next door and the gorgeous beach in front. The renovations/maintenance have made it even better. Plenty of shaded areas, change rooms/bathrooms, and friendly lifeguards around. Love bringing my littles here

A great family friendly waterpark, great for the kids and the young at Heart. Great place to cool down. All is free except for the ninja warrior water part of the park. Definitely worth stopping at to have a splash in the water and cooling off. Fun in the sun

Loved the playground. Great for kids of all ages! Playground: Well thought out playground. Great for high energy, adventurous kids while also catering for those that are not so daredevil.

A fun free event enjoyed by all ages. Great food, music and atmosphere. The sea front oval is a better location to hold this event, as the sea breeze keeps the temperature at a comfortable level. Another success Food & Groove over the holidays.

Oh wow, would have to be the biggest and best kids slide set up I've ever seen. Adult friendly, but a bit of a squeeze, 90% kid friendly, but there is room for some safety upgrades

SPLASHSIDE REVIEWS

This place is so great to chill out on a warm day. Has playgrounds, flying fox, bbqs and toilet facilities. There is even a skate bowl, tennis and basketball courts and open green grass ovals for games. Must visit place with kids. All is free and close to Maryborough central shops.

What a great place for families to spend the day. There is something for all the family from skateboarding to water play. Took grandchildren and had a great day

Great place for the kids to cool down on a hot day.. BBQ, picnic tables and toilets.. perfect for kids bday parties. Plenty of playground equipment
