HERVEY BAY HISTORICAL VILLAGE & MUSEUM REVIEWS
What a gem. The volunteers do an excellent job of maintaining and displaying the many artefacts donated to this museum. Thoroughly enjoyed the Blacksmith, corn pulling and rope making demonstrations, very informative. Home to what was salvaged from the wreck of the Maheno. Delightful period cottages, school room, shops, machinery, fire brigade displays etc etc this place has something for everyone. Very nostalgic.
Such a great museum! As we entered the place, we were welcomed by two volunteers who were friendly and knowledgeable! The museum is very well maintained and organised. It was a very interesting morning where we had the opportunity to learn more about Hervey Bay history.
Felt so welcome, great hosts here and some great exhibits. I loved the Scout den and the garage. Took a million photos because it was so much to soak up.

HERVEY BAY LIBRARY REVIEWS
The Hervey Bay Library is a nice and tranquil library. It has a men.and women's toilet. There is a kids corner. There are also lots of computer areas where you can borrow device or spots to use your own device. It's a great place to wind down and charge your devices while reading a book.
Many thanks to the lovely librarian who helped me print my Vaccination Certificate on Friday morning. Was struck by the genuine helpfulness, the fact that I didn't need to be a member, and the price was a simple 20c. Will definitely visit this lovely library again.
I would like to Thank Tracy who has been looking after the Burrum Heads Library while our usual librarian Sue is taking some time off. You are doing a great job.

Urangan Pier was initially constructed as a deep-water cargo-handling hub and was primarily designed to export sugar, timber, and coal. Built between 1913 and 1917, it spanned an initial length of 1124 meters. Pier Park marks the beginning of the links corridor, an environmentally landscaped walkway and cycling path following the former rail line that linked the Pier to Pialba's Central Business District. Adjacent to the pier, the surrounding water is renowned as one of the Bay's prime spots for windsurfing and kite surfing, offering suitable surfing conditions for individuals ranging from beginners to experts.

URANGAN PIER REVIEWS
Good pier with scenic views often with a lot of people fishing at each side and their are good views of Fraser Island. This pier was historically used for cargo transfer. It is great for sunset and morning walks and it is a short distance from the beach.
The perfect spot for an evening walk to admire the sunset, or set yourself up along the side to fish. Whatever the reason, anyone in the area needs to walk along this pier at least once. It is quite a walk to the end and back so just keep that in mind.
Great spot for a visit by yourself or with family /friends on the weekends. Windy and scenic. Make sure to visit for sunrise/set. A long pier walk with good photo opportunities too.
