HERVEY BAY BOTANIC GARDENS REVIEWS
Pretty! Peaceful. Tranquil. Nice quiet spot to meditate. Well kept. Need about 1.5 hr to walk and see all of it. Paved access for wheel chairs in much of it. Cafe. Orchid house is nice! Rest rooms. Couple mini lakes with board walk. Some feed ducks, turtles, eels. Couple carpet pythons hidden in the nether regions. Can book 4 weddings, events, etc.
There is a pond there full of heaps of turtles which the kids will love! “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

REEFWORLD AQUARIUM REVIEWS
It is a smaller aquarium but the lovely staff and warm welcoming is something you don't often get anywhere now. The absolute highlight was feeding the Green Sea Turtles! Feeding time is 11am and is included in your entry. Your also able to come and go throughout the day and continue to pat the sea turtles outside of feeding time! ... I absolutely loved it and so did my young kids! ... Despite being a smaller aquarium, there is definitely plenty to see and extra sea-life pops out on your next circle thru!
Main attraction of the aquarium for us were the friendly sea turtles which were friendly and occasionally swam over for a interaction/ pat. Turtle feeding sessions were also available and included in the ticket which was purchased at the door. Otherwise a fairly small aquarium, with a variety of coral fish/small sharks in the center of the room with some smaller tanks on the side displaying more coral species. A small starfish/sea sponge interactive pond is also present. Small gift shop/next door restaurant cafe is also available. Friendly and informative staff members.
A family friendly experience - a hidden gem on the Fraser Coast - $22 gives you all day entry and you can hand feed the turtles. The only natural ocean fed aquarium in the Southern Hemisphere. Well worth the entry fee. A good interactive experience.
