CITY PARK REVIEWS
Although the entertaining monkeys area worth a visit, it's the beautiful gardens and gorgeous established trees that make this park a lovely place to hold a picnic date or have a quiet recharging walk. Plentiful grassy areas, benches to sit and a kids playground with a cute little mushroom toilet room. Well groomed gardens with path access to get fully around making a great place for a walk. The hot house has a wonderful arrangement of flowers, orchids ferns and indoor plants. There are also toilet facilities available. Near Tamar st entrance there is this vintage radio museum. Very eclectic and interesting place to enjoy.
This park was very beautiful. The flowers surrounding the benches were just inviting you to sit and enjoy this green space. The conservatory was just bursting with or hids and othe fabulous flowers. The monkeys were very entertaining, and I had a good chuckle at their antics.
A lovely park in the heart of Launceston city. It boasts a wide variety of flowers and plants. Well marked footpaths for a run or stroll. Lots of seating arrangements to relax and admire the beautiful surroundings. And if you want some amusement, go visit the monkey enclosure. All free!

TAILRACE PARK REVIEWS
A delightful waterfront park with plenty of kid's amenities, free (and clean) BBQ, toilets and a huge address for running around, relaxing and even for exercise. A boat ramp is available, which enables connection straight into the river proper. And a floating jetty allows passengers to climb in to your craft. Attached to the lovely river front walkways.
I have been here about 8 times, plenty of room for many activities including play equipment for the kids which is well spread out, there's a couple open lawn areas to play or have a picnic, a large barbecue area, close toilets and and a nice walk around the river, definitely worth a look.
Great playground for children. New state of the art equipment. Large areas to play, sit and relax.

RIVERBEND PARK REVIEWS
Stayed in Launceston for few days and the day I enjoyed most when we visited Riverbend. Plenty of activities for the kids, a walk along the river Tamar was so beautiful. Walked across the river and tried fish and chips, candy floss…everything was so perfect.
This is a wonderful park for the whole family! There are so many activities and stations, even when it's busy it feels spacious. Our little one is obsessed and is often very sad to leave (until we tell him that we'll be back!). Highly recommend as a regular destination for kids and parents.
Activities for all age groups, great clean toilets, outstanding skywalk, interactive waterplay for toddlers. Loads of seating for adults, nice and clean. Outstanding must-visit the playground.
