QUEEN VICTORIA MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY REVIEWS
A terrific regional museum over two sites. At Royal Park, it has information about the first Tasmanians as well an art gallery. At Invermay, there are wonderful exhibits including native wildlife and a planetarium.
A free museum for anyone visiting Launceston. Quite a lot of history in there ranging from dinosaurs to motor vehicles to artifacts from the first settlers. It's free so why not. Im sure everyone will be able to find something that interests here.
Small but very well-designed local museum; all areas easily accessible with a pram. Especially enjoyed the dinosaurs and the photography exhibit on the second floor. Gift shop has a large selection of locally-made items. Will be coming back again.

TASMANIA ZOO REVIEWS
What an absolute pleasure . Modern facilities and well maintained existing facilities . Amazing staff , friendly service . Animals all appeared happy and well looked after . Staff were very engaging . Did not have the horrid zoo smell to it either ! And the food at the cafe was great.
Such a lovely Zoo, had a great family day walking around to look at all the animals. My kids loved the Jurassic dinosaur area and feeding the wallabies. Cafe food and coffee was good and reasonable priced. Nice drive through the counrty to find the zoo.
A very very quiet zoo. Not much happening in terms of shows and events, but the animals were a delight to see and feed. Food is an extra $2 a bag. Kangaroos were very child friendly. Jurassic Swamp was closed due to vandalism which was very unfortunate, hope it's sorted quickly. The enclosures looked very clean too!

NATIONAL AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM OF TASMANIA REVIEWS
Great Collection of Cars and motorbikes. Continually changing, today was a Honda Collection on view- a large range of m'bikes and Honda cars & coupes. A good little history video is worthwhile watching on the Longford Race track, very informative. Along with the Monaro caught on top of the Tasman Bridge disaster from the '70's. The Launceston Fire Brigade Dennis truck loooked fantastic. A car museum worth visiting when visiting Tasmania.
We popped into Launceston during our holiday in Tassie and were greeted by the really friendly staff who were fantastic to chat too. The presentation of the museum was very professional and informative with many of the cars and motorcycles having an interesting story behind them. There is much on offer in the front showroom as well with plenty of souvenirs on sale. Thanks for having us.
Been before, one of my husbands favourite places to when we are in Tasmania. Very worth a visit.
