3 Best Parks in Sunshine Coast QLD

The most organaized Park that I've ever seen in my life with picnic and bbq area next to the beach with complimentary showers and large restroom. Has also a beautiful Kids playground with skateboard area to entertain from age 1 to 90+. Next door is a Caravans park with large and huge green playground and on the other side of the road one large shopping center, shops, bottle shop, restaurants and bars are all you need for your long vacation!

Nice park! Have big car parks, close with bus stop. Great place for family, rest, surfing, and a public toilet nearby. Lot of place to eat at the cross of the road.

Nice location free parking close to beach, surf school, toalets, showers and shops over the road.

Always a great place to visit, but crowded because it is. Good for paddle boarding, not so great for jetskis, but you can set off from here. Mangroves grow in the edge so there are lots of tiny fish around. Plenty of picnic tables, a few BBQs, big playground which is always popular. The toilet block to the west has changing rooms and soap and is well maintained. Jettys suitable for fishing from, with overhead lighting at the end and on the paths. Don't swim alone or let kids or little dogs swim too deep. The water is always murky and there is a chance of bull sharks being around. Events are sometimes hosted at the big grassy field closer to the pool end. Parking goes quickly right in this street, but there are more parking spots on the side streets.

Dedicated car park is a bit small for how good this area is. Playground for kids, 2 piers that can be fished off, lovely sandy beaches and clear water. One pier has sand that declines gradually for little kids and the other is rapid for swimming. Bike path a d lots of seats.

This park has got it all: stunning views of the Maroochy River, multiple playground equipment areas, a strip of sandy beach (no waves), covered tables, BBQs, toilets and loads of concrete pathways for bike riding, skating and scootering.

Fantastic spaced out playground, keeps the kids amused for hours. No big slides but it has lots of swings options, flying foxes and a smaller kids section. What sets the park apart from the others is: fully fenced, has a large scooter/bike looping path, space for a kick with the ball, great gazebos with BBQ's and bench tables that is frequently used for Birthday parties, basket ball court, drinking fountain, a large dog park next door, lots of seating around the park, the toilet block is always clean and stocked and lots of grass to set up your picnic blanket and listen to the lorikeets.

Love my local park where so many dog owners enjoy too. Is not completely fenced off but large enough for your dog to run and play. Toilets available and poo bags for your dog too.

What a great park for families, cycling for the kids, playground, netball court. Great undercover pavillions with BBQS, toilets and totally fenced so no escapees. No dogs allowed.
