“Sugarworld Adventure Park is provided with three epic super slides! 74-metre, 4-person Mat Racer Waterslide. The 100-metre Super Jet Waterslide is an open-body super speed slide. 120-metre Tandem Tube Raft Waterslide. The town of Cairns is a kids' water zone with seven slides, pools, a giant water bucket, fountains, waterfalls, water jets, and a water splash zone. Splash Town's water world of discovery is suitable for children aged 10 years and younger (with supervising parents) and is designed to share the joy of water and develop confidence in young children. This amusement park features body, mat, and raft slides, plus an interactive aquatic playground for kids. They have facilities that include swimming pools, a 9-hole mini-golf course, and an interactive aquatic play area.

“Cairns Wake Park offers a unique watersport experience to young people and adults. Beginners to advanced participants can have fun and a sense of achievement through a well-designed and safe activity. All beginner equipment is provided, ranging from kneeboards to wakeboards and includes a life jacket and helmet. The Wake Park is suitable for ages 10 and above; however, the Kids Club runs on Saturday mornings and on additional weekdays during Queensland school holidays, aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years. The pro shop stocks all of the latest wakeboards, life jackets, helmets, kneeboards, ropes, handles and accessories, as well as clothing from all the top brands.

2025 Update: Cairns Wake Park permits entry to the Aqua Park for those aged 6 and over, and to the Wake Park for those aged 10 and over.”

SUGARWORLD ADVENTURE PARK REVIEWS

This is really a nice family park where the whole family can enjoy an outing, BBQ, a playground for the kids and a water world to enjoy. There are plenty of fruit trees of which you can eat the fruit and the nuts on the nut trees. The beautiful peacocks run wild around there.

We love going to SugarWorld as there is an incredible range of tropical fruit trees planted there. They are all well marked with little signs to tell you what tree they are, and it’s very interesting to wander about the park identifying the fruit. There is always something there fruiting. On our most recent trip all the mangosteens were fruiting and I was surprised to see just how many varieties there are. Worth a visit.

The park itself is great, old big rain tree is exciting, the aqua park is good. Just don't expect anything mind-blowing, but it has some good big waterslides (you need to pay extra for them). Unfortunately, they have only one swimming pool and lots of people. They also have instructors or people around a corner in case of emergency. Nevertheless, nice place to visit

Hey team wake board.. A big thank u for yesterday we had a ball. The deck was perfect for our event and your team made us feel more than welcome- nothing was a problem and it really added to our day. You guys have got an awesome product…. Good on ya’s

Great activity for the kids! It’s affordable, the equipment provides lots of options - slides, climbing, balance, swinging. Also great for birthday parties! I’d recommend making sure young kids (6) have an adult or older sibling/friend with them to help them get back into the equipment when they jump / fall off.

Great, fun experience. My kids love it. A real community feel to be had here at the Wake Park!
