This place is the ideal comforting Irish pub. Great hearty meals and a comfortable warm place to relax with mates or in my case by yourself! There is a welcoming outdoor area with bench seats and table with plenty of room and geaters on the roof if it's cold. A curving bar where you won't wait for a drink. They do have live music as well on certain nights. For dinner I had the pork sausages which came with mash and brocolini and also ordered a garden salad. 2nd time I've eaten here and it's always good. I'd your in town do yourself a favour and past. Well worth a visit!.

All meals were very nice and a hearty size , the chicken snitty was the best , juicy, fat snitty I've ever eaten accompanied by a scrumptious creamy garlic prawn sauce and mash and green's absolutely delightful.

Love the guiness stout so smooth and full flavour, a taste I longed for a long time. Love the barrumundi fish n chip served with garden salad. Everything on the plate was very delicious.

Stayed at the Rydges Hotel above the restaurant and ordered dinner in our room from Zebu. I am vegan and my mother is omnivorous. Both of our food was absolutely spectacular. Flavourful and delicious. Our night was made perfect because of the dining experience. Thanks to the beautiful cooks are service people. Vegetarian options: They do vegetarian normally, and are happy to change their menu to suit vegan needs. Dietary restrictions: They always try to cater to everyone's needs and wants.

Went for the first time since moving to Port and the food was outstanding, it was a buffet breakfast with all the trimmings, the eggs were cooked to order with scrambled and hard boiled ready serve, food was hot, I will return with my guest in the not to distant future.

The menu was very good, with a variety of food and drinks that should suit most people. The oysters I had were divine (6 x Natural and 6 x Kilpatrick). Friendly staff and good service made the night very relaxing.

Great location and beer garden food is so good it's almost always booked out says something about the food rest assured you can find a table has a fantastic kids play area so the parents can chillax to the great vibe and music the tavern has something for everyone so a great day or night out is a given 100% five star rating and my first in over 600 reviews keep up the great work tacking point tavern you can't improve on perfect!!!!!!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the lovely bar attendant Sarah who greeted me with a beautiful smile and warm conversation. What an asset she is to the tavern. When sharing with her that I had just received the news of having beaten cancer she congratulated me and really brighten my day.

Excellent food, dog friendly in the beer garden, reasonably priced.
