KOOLOONBUNG CREEK NATURE RESERVE REVIEWS

Great to see places like this in cities. Nature parks with info etc on how important it is to protect these natural spaces. Playgrounds, picnic areas, walk through the mangroves. See some flying foxes up close.

Excellent walking tracks, with the option of a shorter or longer circuit. And the Flying Fox's were GORGEOUS!

Excellent place for a walk with nature, highly recommended.

GOOGIK HERITAGE WALKING TRACK REVIEWS

A lovely 5km walking and cycle track that takes you from Lake Road to Crestwood Estate with a turn off for one of the local schools. Lots of fauna around such as Water Dragons, Land Mullets, Goannas, snakes, Kangaroos plus bird life. Ideal place to take the family for a casual walk/ ride and there are also benches for those needing a rest.

You can start your walk or ride along the Lake Road entrance and take in the scenery as you leisurely stroll through or you can fly through on your bike. With multiple entry and exit starting points at Lake Innes.

Great walk, diversity of plant communities and abundant bird life, sculptural tea tree swampland, magnificent large eucalypts.

SEA ACRES NATIONAL PARK REVIEWS

A great way to explore the subtropical rainforest that used to cover this area. The boardwalk allows you to get close to nature - we saw a land mullet and owl on our walk - while still making it easy for those with prams as well as young kids and the elderly to get around. The shop and cafe are also nice. Good value all around.

This is a very well laid out boardwalk through the rainforest. We went the day after a big storm so part of the walkway was closed, despite this we really enjoyed the walk and saw plenty of wildlife. The staff were all very friendly, we had a very enjoyable time here, highly recommended if you are in the area.

Loved this place! The boardwalk around the rainforest is a great way to see it without causing damage, found the Strangler Figs fascinating. Topped the day off with a very tasty lunch at the Cafe.
