Finally managed to come up and play Port Macquarie course which is reciprocal with my home club of Belmont. I was very impressed with the course, the staff in the pro shop, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. A nice place to visit course was in immaculate condition I will be back.
Great food and the waitress was super friendly even though she seemed under pressure with staff shortages. Food was plentiful, fresh and very enjoyable.

EMERALD DOWNS GOLF COURSE REVIEWS
On holiday from the UK we called into Emerald Downs Golf Course to play a round of golf. The club professional was extremely helpful and friendly, quickly sorting out two sets of hire clubs for us. The front nine holes were being treated that day, so we played two rounds on the back nine. The course has some lovely holes and our experience was enhanced when we were joined by a family of kangaroos on the 12th hole. Would love to return to play the front nine sometime. A gem of a course that has something for everyone.
A surprisingly good, well maintained course. Flat but challenging with wide fairways and generous greens. Pro is very personable and welcoming. Looking forward to returning and playing here again soon.
A great course with friendly welcoming members and staff. Lots of challenges and wildlife. was almost always open through the height of the rains and can almost alway get a game even at short notice. Highly recommended.
