“A/Professor Johan Verjans is a cardiologist and physician-scientist at the Adelaide Specialist Clinic. He completed his Master of Science in Medicine from Maastricht University Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, Netherlands, in 2007. He combines cutting-edge research and patient care. A/Professor Johan Verjans authored the Cardiology chapter for Springer Nature’s first book on Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging. He received several Young Investigator awards. He is the director of the Adelaide Specialist Clinic and also practices at Royal Adelaide Hospital. He holds a senior lecturer position at the University of Adelaide and is the Medical AI Theme Lead at SAHMRI Heart Health. He is multilingual and can speak German, French, and Dutch. The Adelaide Specialist Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic.”
